The Script for the film, is actually based of the comic. "A Knight in Bludhaven." To be truthful, it is mostly word for word from the comic. We tried to stay as close as we could to original story by using the comic itself as the script and scoreboards. The few areas we have changed, were simply things that we could not do. For example, there are three main fights in the comic and the final one takes place in one of those "Check-into-Cash booths," being toted above the city by a helicopter. We knew right from the get-go that there is no way that we could every film such a thing. So we had to come up with another idea. Creative licensing is what we tried to stay away from, but you can't do everything Hollywood does with only a shoestring budget. So we had to come up with something that kept the story intact and still was true to the comic. I think we were able to do that with the script.

We decided not to write our own story. Two Man Movies has plenty of other stories of its own that will surface at another time. Our goal is to show Nightwing, as he is portrayed in the comic, as best we can, as much as possible. So that means no organic web shooters in this film. Nightwing is such a timely character that seems to have been untouched. We are happy to be amongst the first to portray this character in a Fan-film.
